It’s fun to write characters that are wildly not like me, such as the ones that thoughtlessly throw all caution to the wind and (almost) never learn. At least I think there’s not very much Sara in me… lol

TEXT:

So Cara and Steven sat down to haggle and Sara sat against the wall and thought that passing out might be fun. She startled awake at some point, Murder warm and snoring in her lap and Steven draping a blanket across her front. Cara was cutting up a fish and arranging bits on plates alongside what looked like Gay’s tea cakes. The two morons were sitting on the other side of the cave, looking a bit bedraggled and put out. Sara briefly wondered which one was Twinkle, then settled on not caring. 

They noticed her eyes on them and they puffed up and growled, their great big claws flexing in their huge paws. Sara rolled her eyes, drew her paw from under Steven’s blanket, and flipped them off. Their heavy brows shot up in surprise and their upper lips pulled back from their huge fangs. One started to get up, then Steven walked by and smacked him in the back of the head. He looked up, startled, but her hackles were raised and business was meant. Sara watched in amusement as Twinkle/Anthony cringed and dropped gracelessly back down beside his brother, obviously grumbling under his breath. They both turned to glare at her and she waved, giving them her most insincere smile.
