Ha ha! Week one of remote schooling was a bit of a mess, hoping it gets better fast. It’s not like the school board didn’t have a few months to come up with a plan… I don’t know how the teachers do it. I nearly pulled my hair out waiting for 18 kids on Google meet to all open their Hapara screens and watch the correct movie, lol.
This too shall pass. We’re lucky to live in a fairly weather stable area. The pictures of the west coast are terrifying. If any of you are in a fire zone my thoughts are with you! As if a pandemic wasn’t enough to deal with. I am truly worried about what kind of climate we are leaving for our kids to deal with :(

I live in Vancouver and our kids start school today. They go in person witch will be interesting. It is also very smoky here looks like a thick yellowish fog.

The good thing about school: you don’t miss anything. People learn reading, writing, hopefully a little math and…little else that’s actually useful. They do learn the fear of making mistakes though. Missing school is pretty much a blessing as long as one trades it for proper education.
