When did this series get so dark? First it was Nerd who just wanted someone to associate with, then *BLAM* twin evil’s that go on a rampage. That escalated quickly.

I think the “dark side” of this series is refreshing, who doesnt wanna see a bear vs bear showdown with swords and guns and blood and stuff?? quality content.

Well, I gotta see what’s gonna happen next! I like the darker side of the comic personally. It seems to give the stories more variety; more development ya know? I think if the comic remained the same like Book 1 throughout the series; it would have run it’s course. It’s nice to see something new and dynamic. Keep up the good work!

I have to say, this silly webcomic, which was originally a light-hearted but mature carebear spoof, has really turned into something dark and dramatic. I’m honestly not sure how I feel about that. This just feels so out of place…

I think Evil, knowing he’s dying unless the vets get to him in time, will be that selfless. Mostly because his wants to WIN.
Frankly, the comic has always been dark. In the beginning, you had Evil roasting children on a spit. That was cute?? Severed polar bear limbs, executed mother bears…yeah…it’s been dark before. Just my 2 cents.

I REALLY think this is still a dream sequence of sorts, but I have no idea if Nerd or Evil, or even Prozac or Evil 2 is dreaming… Wonder if it’s actually Cracked… Man, that would be funny, but not too surprising; Cracked’s just that crazy, and we DID last see him passed out….

Ok so clone Evil saying your not that selfless I think proves that whatever he does to the voodoo doll will happen to him as well and I think he really is deep down also now his family is in danger he is going to do whatever he can… also where the crap does Evil2 keep getting these weapons! Nicole: good points. That stuff had slipped my mind and if I, too, thought things were taking a dark turn, you just reminded us all that the sun does go down in Bear Nuts from time to time. :)
I miss Crack! (And no, I’m not channeling the mayor of Toronto here.) What’s he up to? Is he going to come in and be instrumental in saving Nerd from “rug-in-front-of-a-fireplace”-hood?
And I still wanna know if Lech and Gay are brothers. :)

PS FWIW I don’t think Evil’s that selfless, either. I think he’d cope just fine with something happening to the others. I just think he doesn’t like to lose. Maybe I’m wrong, though.
